I loved Japan and I found it really good for being a wheelchair user. There are dropped curbs everywhere, all of the train stations have accessible toilets

I stayed near Kyoto so that I could still get into Kyoto and also visit to nearby Nara and Iga Ueno. I enjoyed both of these visits, although the park that we visited in Iga Ueno was not very accessible to. Please
